Job Summary

Own and coordinate multi-channel marketing and content workflows for a history-focused foundation, from WordPress site updates to image asset management and social content, with regular stakeholder coordination.

  • Content & Website Ops: manage WordPress updates, marker pages, and QA for a consistent user experience.
  • Media & Assets: lead photo outreach, asset intake, archiving, and captioning for campaigns and events.
  • Communications & Partnerships: draft materials, presentations, and support multi-channel marketing efforts with interns and partners.

Job Description

Own multi-channel marketing support for a historical nonprofit, mainly focusing on WordPress updates and asset management.

  • Responsibilities: website updates in WordPress for digital marker map, podcasts, events, and news.
  • Create and publish historical marker webpages, coordinating with internal systems for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead photo outreach to grant recipients, source external images, and manage incoming submissions.
  • Organize and archive photos with consistent naming conventions.
  • Upload approved photos to marker pages and draft descriptive image captions.
  • Assist with QA and formatting of published content to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Draft communications materials, including letters of commendation for marker ceremonies.
  • Help develop internal presentations showing program outcomes and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to social content by drafting posts and collaborating on assets.
  • Support light graphic design and promotional content for campaigns and events.
