Own and execute the Foundation’s social media strategy and content pipeline, coordinating stories, visuals, and campaigns across platforms while collaborating with partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the Foundation’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with Foundation programs, events, campaigns, and priorities.
  • Identify and develop stories highlighting leadership training, community partnership grants, scholarships, events, and community impact.
  • Capture photos and video at Foundation meetings and events.
  • Create written and visual content for social media, email campaigns, the Foundation website, blog, brochures, event materials, and other communications.
  • Assist with graphics, photography, video, and short-form multimedia content.
  • Monitor social media, website, email, and other digital marketing performance.
  • Prepare monthly reports highlighting key metrics, progress, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with Foundation staff, board members, law enforcement agencies, community partners, sponsors, and vendors.
  • Assist with Foundation events and other marketing and communications projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to create engaging content for social media and digital platforms.
  • Experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to create visual content using graphic design, photography, videography, or short-form video editing tools.
  • Working knowledge of social media management, content creation, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
