Job Summary

Own the end-to-end patient experience communications workflow, from intake through approval, translating healthcare terminology into clear materials while collaborating with design and Brand & Experience teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Coordinate content creation, editing and distribution with clients and approvals across print and digital channels.
  • Partner with design for visuals, infographics and patient教育 materials to support training and education programs.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently with team tasking tools and escalate issues to keep work on schedule.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding and following of health care and patient experience industry terms, relevant topics & trends.
  • Responsible for communication needs intake from clients to develop, produce, copyedit and round for approval and distribution.
  • Partner with graphic design team to develop visual communication, infographics, training and patient education materials.
  • Ensure accuracy of material through additional research and escalate edits and proofs to clients until all approvals are secured.
  • Build strong client relationships across all Clinic departments providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with clients and Brand & Experience team members in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing initiatives and patient experience programs.
  • Use creative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and guide stakeholders.
  • Organize, manage, coordinate and complete multiple & simultaneous project tasks on deadline using team tasking tools.
  • Additional responsibilities may include providing patient education, training and support for our patient portal.
  • Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, business, political science or related concentration required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional writing, communications and/or editing experience preferred.
  • Highly proficient in content marketing, copyediting and writing for all types of print and digital platforms required.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, content management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple communication and patient experience tasks and simultaneous projects.
  • Desire to work well in fast-paced environment required.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Confidence and interest in using public speaking skills to deliver patient experience training sessions.
