Job Summary

Own cross function marketing admin and program operations for demos, eStore, employee store, and tradeshow logistics, while keeping brand and supplier partnerships on track.

  • Operations: run the demo truck program, eStore, and internal store with stakeholder feedback and brand-consistent execution.
  • Campaign & Events Support: backstop customer visits, tabletop shows, and promotional assets with external vendors and internal teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate demo truck program including scheduling truck movement; tracking inventory, maintenance, and updates of demo trucks and their associated products; and overseeing the driver approval process.
  • Coordinate G&W Electric eStore program including overseeing all inventory and online orders, seeking feedback and recommendations from stakeholders, auditing the site user list quarterly, and reviewing billing for accuracy.
  • Coordinate the G&W Electric employee store including promotion, overseeing inventory of moving and not moving items, refreshing inventory with the latest popular options, and seeking feedback and recommendations from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales to support customer visits as needed. Depending on the scale of the visit, this may include scheduling space, arranging for meals, providing gifts, welcoming guests, providing guidance about the area, arranging transportation, etc. Solicit regular feedback from sales to continuously improve the program.
  • Provide administrator support for the company intranet site under the direction of the Director, Global Marketing & Internal Communications.
  • Support the Manager, Global Marketing Communications, and Marketing Specialists with promotional items, literature, imagery, banners, etc. to support tradeshows, campaigns, or other programs.
  • Support the Tradeshow & Event Lead in planning for tabletop shows as needed.
  • Ensure G&W Electric’s brand guidelines are implemented throughout all projects.
  • Collaborate and manage projects with external vendors and agencies (for example design agencies, print houses, advertising outlets

Requirements

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree, Marketing or Communications major preferred with 0-3 years related marketing experience
  • Has an ability to effectively manage projects, including establishing timeline, action items, budget needs and expected outcomes
  • Has demonstrated skills in written and oral communication and the ability to obtain information, critique, edit and communicate effectively. Good editorial and proof-reading skills regarding format and style.
  • Must be flexible in a fast paced and changing work setting while maintaining a positive attitude in a customer service environment
  • Is an experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite tools
  • Has brand and reputation management understanding
  • Is self-motivated, self-starter; able to work independently and as part of the team
  • Possesses good “people” skills and establishes strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Has an ability to gain an understanding of the business quickly
  • Has a desire to continue to learn

Preferred

  • Are an expert in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel)
  • Have experience with CRM software (SFDC, etc…)
  • Have campaign development, management, and analysis
  • Can identify issues and makes timely, tough and objective decisions, also under pressure
