Marketing & Business Development Manager – Colonie Center

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the property team to develop and execute strategic marketing plans focused on leasing, sales, and revenue generation.
• Ensure the annual marketing plan aligns with ownership objectives while effectively managing budgets, resources, and revenue goals.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities, evaluate competition, and support marketing, leasing, and business development strategies.
• Manage the Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance and support to achieve established goals and performance objectives.
• Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and professional development to strengthen skills and overall performance.
• Develop and execute advertising programs, sales promotions, and media strategies designed to increase center traffic and tenant sales.
• Oversee media buys, advertising materials, and promotional programs while evaluating performance and effectiveness.
• Recruit merchants to participate in center programs and use market research and performance insights to strengthen promotional strategies.
• Cultivate relationships with store managers and develop cross-promotional opportunities to increase traffic, exposure, and sales.
• Build relationships with community organizations and coordinate community relations initiatives that support strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in retail or shopping center management.
• Proficient in marketing fundamentals, research, and reporting techniques.
• Advanced PC, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop skills.
• Experience with social media management for businesses.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities, and work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.
