Responsibilities

• Create compelling and shareable social media content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, tailored to specific platforms and target audiences.
• Develop a content calendar and scheduling plan to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
• Manage the scheduling and publishing of social media posts across multiple platforms, ensuring content is delivered at optimal times for maximum reach and engagement.
• Write compelling and newsworthy press releases, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to client branding guidelines.
• Coordinate the distribution of press releases to targeted media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Monitor and track media coverage, ensuring timely follow-up and response to media inquiries.
• Pitch story ideas, news releases, and feature articles to relevant media outlets.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, reporting, and responsiveness to client inquiries.
• Support the planning and execution of public relations events, such as product launches, press conferences, and media tours.
• Develop promotional materials and media kits to generate interest and coverage for events.
• Coordinate logistics, invitations, and media attendance to ensure successful event outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform features, and best practices.

Requirements

• No college degree is required.
• Must reside in Las Vegas.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Solid understanding of major social media platforms and current trends.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience with Canva is a strong plus.
• Professional agency experience is a plus.
