Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Community Outreach You will develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of cemetery services. This includes building relationships with local organizations, churches, and community groups, as well as representing the cemetery at events and networking opportunities. You are expected to contribute to social media engagement, assist with marketing materials, and identify new outreach initiatives to expand the customer base.
  • Sales Support & Appointment Scheduling You are responsible for generating and qualifying leads, reaching out to potential clients, and scheduling appointments for the Sales Manager. Consistent follow-up via phone, email, and in-person outreach is required. Maintaining an organized database of prospects and tracking interactions is essential to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in sales support.
  • Administrative Duties In addition to marketing responsibilities, you will provide administrative support by managing appointment schedules, maintaining records, and preparing reports related to lead generation and marketing efforts. You are also responsible for answering phone calls and responding to inquiries professionally and courteously.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a background in marketing, sales, or community outreach is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and compassionate approach.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required, including familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, etc.).
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community events and outreach.

Preferred

  • Experience in the funeral, cemetery, or pre-planning industry is beneficial but not required.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
  • Some evening or weekend hours may be required for events or appointments.
