Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute trade marketing programs across more than 600 hobby shops and 100 breaker accounts, translating brand, product, and marketing priorities into channel activations that drive engagement, sales, and collector participation.
  • Partner closely with Sales Account Managers to support product launches, promotional programs, and account-specific initiatives, while developing marketing tools, merchandising solutions, and partner-facing resources that help drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hobby shops, breakers, and community partners, using partner and collector insights to inform channel opportunities and program development.
  • Manage key community and tentpole initiatives, including Topps Rip Night, Tier 1 product launches, grassroots activations, and the Topps Rip Night Captains program.
  • Manage marketing support for more than 300 product launches annually, ensuring timely delivery of product information, creative assets, communications, and promotional materials.
  • Own channel marketing operations, including the digital asset hub, communication platforms, branded physical asset marketplace, creative briefing processes, and asset distribution workflows.
  • Project manage major trade marketing initiatives by developing timelines, workback schedules, and execution plans while coordinating stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Track and analyze channel, campaign, and program performance; monitor KPIs; identify opportunities; and provide actionable recommendations to improve future activations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Topps Media Network, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution and exceptional collector experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, shopper marketing, brand marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing programs across multiple stakeholders, channels, and deadlines.
  • Experience supporting retail, specialty retail, independent business, creator, influencer, or community-driven channels.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of launches, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience managing marketing tools, systems, digital asset platforms, operational workflows, and performance measurement programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing initiatives and leverage performance insights to optimize results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable balancing planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of trading cards, collectibles, hobby retail, or enthusiast communities preferred. Experience with creator partnerships, retail media, content marketing, or media partnerships is a plus.
