Own the full cycle of external and internal communications for Curaleaf, shaping executive messaging, media outreach, crisis planning, and cross-functional collaboration across PR, HR, Legal, and Marketing.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and corporate announcements.
- Coordinate media inquiries and support proactive media outreach efforts.
- Develop internal communications that inform and engage employees across the organization.
- Support executive communications, including talking points, presentations, and leadership messaging.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations.
- Partner with HR, Legal, Government Affairs, Marketing, and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging.
- Assist with crisis communications planning and response efforts.
- Manage communication calendars and support key corporate initiatives, events, and announcements.
- Track and report on communication and PR metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related discipline.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience working with media outlets and managing external communications.
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in highly regulated industries is a plus.
