Job Summary

Own day-to-day campaign execution and team leadership for digital media work, focusing on performance, coaching, and scalable processes within a political or public affairs context.

  • Campaign Execution: govern tests, measurement studies, and advanced reporting across Search, Social, and programmatic channels.
  • People & Process: mentor two-plus direct reports, onboard new staff, and drive training on platforms and processes.
  • Trend & Tooling: stay current on ad tech trends and push new products and techniques to improve efficiency and results.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day campaign functions and ensure campaign performance meets or exceeds standards.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Associates and Senior Associates, providing training and guidance.
  • Serve as a trainer for new staff on all platforms and processes.
  • Manage successful campaigns with measurement elements, including studies and advanced reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for campaign troubleshooting and escalation.
  • Manage campaign execution for small-to-midsize campaigns.
  • Stay up to date on digital advertising trends and recommend new products/techniques.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Complete expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience with hands-on management of digital media. Roles in the political or public affairs space are preferred.
  • Experience with Search and Social platforms, primarily Google Ads Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • Exposure to programmatic media, DSPs and Ad Servers preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and the Google Suite platform.
  • Proven leadership and project management experience.
  • A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions with a razor-like attention to detail.
  • Relevant project management experience required, along with demonstrated ability to manage teams of two or more.
  • Experience managing remote staff is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
