Responsibilities

• The Manager, Marketing and Communications will lead marketing and communications for signature events including the Mackinac and Detroit Policy Conferences, Economic Equity and Inclusion program, TalentEd, while managing the Chamber's Board Book creation, and oversee timelines for projects as needed.
• In addition, the Manager will oversee specific Chamber programs, including its relationship with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan while managing the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, ensuring alignment with the target audiences and coordinating the production of necessary assets to support plan execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
• 3-5 years' experience working in marketing or similar fields
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible, deadline-driven environment
• Experience working with a web content management system and mass e-mail program
• Able to write creatively and effectively for a variety of audiences
• Good knowledge of AP style
