Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of 100–120 annual industry conferences — from event selection and contracting through onsite execution and post-event follow-up
  • Manage national association events, state association events, speaking engagements, and new vertical programs (e.g., wealth management)
  • Evaluate event performance against pipeline and retention benchmarks; make data-informed recommendations on portfolio optimization
  • Run quarterly assessments of events and lead generation processes and adjust as needed
  • Continually innovate ideas for sponsorship deliverables and activations
  • Manage association partner relationships to ensure sponsorship and contract/agreement fulfillment
  • Provide coaching, development support, and day-to-day oversight
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture consistent with Ncontracts' values
  • Serve as the primary Events liaison to the Sales team for industry conference planning and post-event follow-up
  • Support post-event lead routing, follow-up accountability, and Salesforce pipeline attribution in partnership with marketing ops

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field; CEM or CMP a plus
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience planning corporate events, conferences, or marketing programs for a B2B company
  • HubSpot and Salesforce experience required; familiarity with Cvent, iCapture, and project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Monday.com , or similar) a plus
  • Comfort with AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency

Preferred

  • CEM or CMP
  • Experience with financial institution association events
  • People management experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Cvent, iCapture, and project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Monday.com) a plus
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or GRC/compliance technology
  • Comfort with data and ROI reporting
  • Familiarity with financial institution regulatory/compliance landscape
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency
