Manager - Creative Marketing & Communications Strategy

Drive Edgemoor’s Creative Marketing & Communications Strategy through content creation and brand initiatives across proposals, campaigns, and corporate channels.

• Plan, coordinate, and create high-quality written and visual content for newsletters, press releases, marketing materials, awards, corporate website, social media, RFQ/RFP responses, and events
• Ensure all communications uphold consistent corporate brand standards in visuals, writing, and tone
• Coordinate digital marketing efforts, including social media content management and management of Edgemoor's external website
• Assist with department operations, including vendor processing and payment and maintaining project tracking systems
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to gather support for communications initiatives
• Execute content strategies that advance Edgemoor’s brand awareness
• Help lead and support proposals
• Focus on how Edgemoor can better market our people as the best and the brightest in our industry
• Support people and culture initiatives as needed, including planning and coordination for corporate outings, such as conferences, off-sites, and volunteer events

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in marketing and/or communications
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with Premiere Pro a plus
• Command of visual design principles to create appealing and effective communication
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and a keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience with various web design platforms is a plus (Squarespace, Drupal)
• Strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
• Ability to “think outside the box” and be creative
• Ability to work as part of a full team but able to remain independently motivated
