Responsibilities

• Earned Media Strategy & Performance
• - Own the brand's overall earned media strategy — the throughline connecting influencer relations, PR, and eventing into a single point of view on how r.e.m. beauty builds buzz and sentiment
• - Define and track the metrics that matter for earned media health (EMV, share of voice, sentiment, buzz/vitality trend); own a daily dashboard to surface opportunities and threats in near real time, and report formally on performance monthly
• - Identify moments — launches, tour activations, cultural events — where earned media investment will have outsized impact, and build the plan to capture it
• PR Agency Management (US, UK, Europe)
• - Manage day-to-day relationships and performance of PR agency partners across the US, UK, and Europe
• - Set quarterly priorities, review coverage and results, and hold agencies accountable to earned media and sentiment goals
• - Ensure PR strategy is aligned and coordinated across regions rather than operating in silos
• Influencer Strategy & Community Growth
• - Set the brand's overall influencer relations strategy, with a focus on building a loyal, high-affinity creator community that compounds brand love over time — not just campaign-by-campaign output

Requirements

• 5+ years in influencer marketing, PR, or earned media, ideally in beauty or a related lifestyle/consumer category
• Experience managing PR agencies across multiple markets/regions
• Track record of building and growing an influencer or creator community strategically, not just executing one-off campaigns
• Experience planning and executing influencer or consumer-facing events, including retail partner events
• People management experience, or clear readiness to manage and develop a direct report
• Strong vendor/agency management skills — able to set direction and hold partners accountable without micromanaging execution
• Excellent relationship-builder — both with external influencers/talent and internal cross-functional partners

Preferred

• Experience in a celebrity or founder-driven beauty brand
• Familiarity with EU/UK influencer and PR landscape
• Experience managing experiential, IRL activation programming
