Position Marketing Statement:

The Spa Attendant will provide uncompromising levels of guest service while orienting guests to spa facilities and providing a personalized touch. This role is also responsible for ensuring the lounge, locker room and other guest areas are neat and sanitized.

Primary Job Duties: – Includes, but is not limited to:

  • Lead the spa guest attendant team’s performance on a daily basis ensuring Forbes Five Star standards.
  • Ensure the daily rotation of stations for all attendant team members are maintained.
  • Spearhead the technical training of the spa reception team.
  • Ensure all set ups and stations are consistent throughout the day.
  • Welcome and interact with guests as they call, enter and exit the facility.
  • Provide a luxury experience while engaging conversations with guests and team members.
  • Ensure the lounges, communal spa area and relaxation lounges are neat, clean and well stocked.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features and amenities.
  • Issue spa lockers, robes and slippers to guests and provide guest orientation.
  • Provide a guest tour explaining spa amenities offered, ensuring guests are comfortable and have everything needed to enjoy their stay.
  • Review guest appointments/schedules and provide guests with reminders of their services times.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as any promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all guest requests. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Attend and participate in support training and staff meetings.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.

  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • At least six months of previous customer service experience in a similar or related field.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • At least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as a Guest Spa Attendant.
  • Working knowledge of spa booking system(s).
  • Working knowledge of Opera and/or HotSOS.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
