We’re Hiring: Literary Manager Executive Assistant (Volunteer Training Program → Junior Manager Track)

Prinzi Literary & Talent Management is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support a working Literary Manager in a hands-on training role designed to develop future managers.

This is a volunteer training position with a clear pathway to a paid Junior Manager role following a successful 1-year commitment and evaluation. This is not a passive role — this is real industry exposure, dealing with real materials, and doing real development.

What You’ll Do

·       Read scripts, books, and client materials (coverage + notes)

·       Draft pitch copy and submission materials (first-pass)

·       Assist with project tracking, submissions, and follow-ups

·       Attend virtual meetings and take notes

·       Support day-to-day manager workflow and communication

·       Coordinate via Discord and digital tools

·       Assist, when needed, with projects connected to Bonfire Cinema (Film/TV development)

·       If candidate is in LA may attend meetings on behalf of Manager or with client if needed.

Ideal Candidate

·       Strong interest in becoming a Literary Manager

·       Experience with coverage, notes, or script analysis

·       Excellent organizational and communication skills

·       Comfortable in fast-moving creative environments

·       Proficient in Discord, Mac/PC, and Microsoft Office

·       Discreet, professional, and proactive

Bonus:

·       Based in Los Angeles or Florida or planning to relocate

·       Previous internship or entry-level experience at an agency or management company

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed as a direct mentorship and pipeline into representation. After the training period, candidates who demonstrate strong performance may be invited to step into a paid Junior Manager position.
