Leasing Professional

Reports To: Community/Property Manager and Marketing & Leasing Manager
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Position Summary

The Leasing Professional is an essential member of the on-site team and plays a vital role in the success of the apartment community. This role operates in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and is responsible for managing the leasing process from start to finish, assisting with marketing efforts, and supporting resident relations.

Essential Functions

o Manage the entire leasing process- Nurture prospects from CRM, follow ups, lease & move-in document generation, move-in coordination

o Conduct property tours with prospects, converting them into leases– virtually and in person

o Handle resident concerns in office; handing off as needed to the Community Manager or Maintenance

o Responsible for running and maintaining reports monthly utilizing excel

o Develop and implement communication material for residents.

o Design and organize resident events and/or programs.

o Walk and maintain the tour path daily.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new software
• Customer Service experience in sales, retail or hospitality
• Some college or supplementary work experience
• Ability to work 40 hours a week, including nights and weekends as needed
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily leasing
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
• 2 Years experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Bachelor’s Degree

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk the property and climb stairs (up to 3 flights)
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 lbs.

Salary plus tiered commission structure and bonus potential.
