We're hiring a full-time Leadership Development Associate to join our Houston team and gain hands-on experience in leadership, team development, fundraising campaigns, and business operations. This Leadership Development Associate opportunity is designed for ambitious individuals who want to build transferable skills, take on increasing responsibility, and develop a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

As a Leadership Development Associate, you'll work alongside experienced team leaders, participate in community outreach campaigns, and learn how successful teams use strategy, communications, and relationship-building to achieve results. Rather than being placed into a repetitive role, the Leadership Development Associate receives ongoing mentorship and practical experience that supports professional development from day one.

What you’ll be doing as a Leadership Development Associate:

  • Develop professional communications skills through direct interaction with community members, supporters, and team leaders
  • Learn how effective communications contribute to campaign performance and team success
  • Gain exposure to leadership principles, team development, and performance management
  • Participate in fundraising campaigns while strengthening communications and relationship-building abilities
  • Assist fellow Leadership Development Associates with campaign coordination, outreach planning, and daily operations
  • Learn how successful organizations use communications to build trust and create meaningful engagement
  • Work closely with experienced leaders who provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance
  • Support Leadership Development Associate team initiatives while developing the confidence and communications skills needed for future leadership opportunities

Leadership Development Associate Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Interest in leadership development, communications, and professional growth
  • Ability to commute to our Houston office and work onsite
  • College coursework or internship experience in Business Administration, Communications, Entrepreneurship or a related field is a plus! (but not required)
