Job Summary

Own and lead end-to-end video productions from concept to finished assets, operating as primary camera operator, studio manager, and on-set director across events, social, and campaigns, while guiding teams and stakeholders.

  • Own camera, lighting, and audio packages on set and in studio environments.
  • Direct talent and production decisions, balancing in-studio, on-location, and post options to meet briefs.
  • Build and maintain scalable studio systems, standards, and workflows with cross-team collaboration.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and direct with taste and craft
  • Serve as primary camera operator across productions — owning framing, lensing, lighting, and location audio on everything from single-camera interviews to multi-camera shoots.
  • Direct talent on set, including customers, employees, and senior executives, drawing out authentic performance under time pressure.
  • Make the call on the right production approach for the brief: what gets shot in-studio, what gets shot on location, what gets built in post, and what belongs with an agency partner.
  • Run our onsite video studio as a standing capability — configuration, lighting and audio setup, and studio-day execution.
  • Own the camera, lens, lighting, grip, and audio package: specification, acquisition recommendations, maintenance, inventory, and readiness.
  • Define and document repeatable studio setups, capture standards, media management, and post workflows so quality holds no matter who is on the floor.
  • Maintain the studio as a resource the broader marketing organization can rely on.
  • Lead productions from conception to completion across event and field activations, social-first content, campaign and paid ad spots, brand films, customer stories, executive communications, and web and product content.
  • Direct and manage freelance crew: DPs, gaffers, audio operators, grips, and production assistants.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years producing video content, with significant time in a marketing, brand studio, or agency environment.
  • A portfolio showing outstanding creative and storytelling capabilities across multiple formats — ideally including event or activation content, social-first work, and campaign or ad spots.
  • Demonstrated experience as a camera operator — hands-on command of cinema and mirrorless bodies, lens selection, exposure, and color pipeline.
  • Practical lighting and location audio skills: interview and set lighting design, lavalier and boom capture.
  • Experience running a studio space, including gear ownership, technical setup, and workflow documentation.
  • End-to-end production experience with a history of meeting deadlines and juggling multiple priorities and partners.
  • Well-versed experience using AI-powered tooling and LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to drive efficiency and scalability throughout the video production process.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop at minimum, preferably full suite). Bonus points for motion graphics and animation experience.
  • Solid understanding of audio recording and mixing, and color correction and grading.
  • Experience directing crew and freelancers, and mentoring less senior producers.

Preferred

  • Bonus points for motion graphics and animation experience.
