Job Summary

Own and execute core PR support work for multiple client campaigns, focusing on media lists, outreach, pitched materials, and cost sourcing under senior guidance.

  • Media & Outreach: Build and refine media lists, conduct outreach, and draft pitches under senior guidance.
  • Content & Collateral: Write first drafts of pitches, fact sheets, backgrounders, and begin case studies with review from seniors.
  • Planning & Logistics: Support plan development with research, source costs for influencers and campaign elements, and handle logistics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle multiple client assignments, which requires strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Support the development of media lists with oversight from senior team members
  • Conduct media and influencer outreach with guidance from more senior team members
  • Write first drafts of media materials, such as pitches, fact sheets and backgrounders
  • Contribute to plan development by researching tactical recommendations with support of larger team
  • Source costs for campaign elements (e.g. influencer costs, mailer costs, etc.)
  • Support all logistical and administrative needs as assigned by the team
  • Support the writing of first drafts of case studies with review and input from senior team members

Requirements

  • A degree in public relations, marketing communications, or similar
  • Internship (or similar) experience in public relations, social media management and /or event management
  • Past experience in an agency setting is highly valued
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about identifying and influencing trends
