Job Summary
JRM is seeking a highly skilled Intranet & Communications Specialist to lead the design, development, and ongoing management of our new company-wide intranet built on SharePoint. This role is essential to strengthening internal communication, employee engagement, and information-sharing across the organization.
The ideal candidate is both technically savvy and creatively driven, with strong design, writing, and project management skills. You will build a user-friendly, visually engaging intranet experience while also supporting firmwide communications, internal announcements, digital content, and branded materials.

What You’ll Do
•    Design, develop, and manage JRM’s SharePoint intranet, including site structure, navigation, templates, and visual standards.
•    Lead the intranet launch and support departments with content organization.
•    Create graphics, templates, email blasts, and digital content for internal communications and company-wide initiatives.
•    Draft clear, branded messaging for announcements, newsletters, events, and leadership communications.
•    Own the meeting & presentation preparation for company and executive leadership meetings.
•    Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and other teams to support engagement, culture, and learning programs.
•    Maintain consistency, tone, and visual alignment across internal communication channels.
•    Serve as a primary point of contact for intranet updates, content needs, and communication support.
•    Monitor intranet performance and user engagement to identify and implement improvements.
•    Research new tools, design techniques, and communication best practices to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
•    3+ years of experience in internal communications, intranet development or similar roles.
•    Hands-on experience designing and managing SharePoint sites.
•    Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
•    Excellent writing, editing, and content development abilities.
•    Experience supporting cross-department initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders.
•    Strong project management, organization, and time-management skills.

Salary Information

  • To the extent this role is performed in New York City, the annual salary range is $80,000 - $110,000.
