• Develop and execute a strategic plan for institutional giving that aligns with organizational goals and growth targets.
• Identify new funding opportunities through research, prospecting, and analysis of potential foundation, corporate, and government grants.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective funders to foster ongoing support and engagement.
• Prepare persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation using data collection, research insights, and compelling storytelling.
• Manage the entire grant lifecycle including submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee the management of CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge to track donor interactions, funding progress, and reporting metrics.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals and reports while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Plan and coordinate special fundraising events that enhance visibility, engagement, and donor stewardship efforts.
• Utilize digital marketing tools like Mailchimp or Constant Contact to communicate with stakeholders through email campaigns and social media management platforms like WordPress or social media channels.
• Monitor budgets related to fundraising activities, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximizing revenue opportunities.

• Proven experience in grant proposal writing, fundraising strategies, and donor relationship management within nonprofit or university settings.
• Strong event planning skills coupled with experience managing events from inception to execution.
• Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge; familiarity with Mailchimp or Constant Contact for email marketing campaigns.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure funding agreements and partnerships beneficial to organizational growth.
• Ability to conduct research effectively using databases, social media platforms, and other digital tools for prospect identification.
• Strategic planning capabilities to develop long-term fundraising goals aligned with organizational mission.
• Knowledge of public relations principles to enhance the organization’s visibility within the community and among stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting for fundraising activities including events management and marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with estate planning concepts such as wills, trusts & estate law is a plus for engaging high-net-worth donors.
• Strong written communication skills for proposal development, reports, newsletters, and social media content.

Pay: $70,582.05 - $90,916.01 per year
