Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the local community, its needs, opportunities, and key stakeholders.
  • Cultivate relationships with community members, leaders, donors, organizations, and partners.
  • Expand IAC's reach by engaging new audiences and strengthening community connections.
  • Serve as a visible and professional representative of IAC at community events, meetings, and initiatives.
  • Maintain an active presence on relevant social platforms and community channels to identify trends and engagement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute programs and initiatives that advance IAC's mission and community impact.
  • Identify opportunities and create innovative engagement experiences that address community needs and provide unique value.
  • Establish clear goals and continuously refine initiatives based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Build strategic partnerships that strengthen community engagement and expand IAC's reach.
  • Plan and execute programs, events, and initiatives that deliver meaningful community experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong connection to both Israeli and American identities and familiarity with Israeli culture, community, and current affairs.
  • Strong understanding of or demonstrated interest in the Israeli-American and/or Jewish community.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into well-executed initiatives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage workload, priorities, calendar, and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work comfortably with volunteers, community leaders, professionals, participants, and organizational leadership.
  • Strong operational and administrative skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in the Israeli, Jewish, nonprofit, education, community-building, or related sectors is a plus.
