Job Summary

Own and produce multi-channel media content for DUX Waterfowl and BUX Hunting, leading video, photo, and social content from planning through publishing.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Video and Photography: Film high-quality hunting, lifestyle, product, studio, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Video and Photography: Capture professional photos for social media, websites, advertising, email, packaging, and product launches.
  • Video and Photography: Edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, promotional videos, product videos, and organic social content.
  • Video and Photography: Edit and organize photos for use across all brand channels.
  • Video and Photography: Maintain organized footage, photography, project files, and digital asset libraries.
  • Video and Photography: Understand how to create content that looks good, performs well, and represents the brands correctly.
  • Shoot Planning and Production: Facilitate and coordinate content shoots from beginning to end.
  • Shoot Planning and Production: Develop concepts, shot lists, schedules, and production plans.
  • Shoot Planning and Production: Coordinate talent, products, locations, props, vehicles, hunting gear, and equipment.
  • Shoot Planning and Production: Make sure everything needed for a shoot is packed, prepared, charged, organized, and ready.

Requirements

  • Strong videography and video-editing skills.
  • Strong photography and photo-editing skills.
  • Experience creating short-form content for Instagram and Facebook.
  • Understanding of social media strategy, content calendars, and platform performance.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, or similar creative software.
  • Strong organization and project-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable directing talent and coordinating shoots.
  • Strong written communication and basic copywriting ability.
  • Willingness to work in person and travel to shoots when necessary.

Preferred

  • A strong portfolio of outdoor, lifestyle, product, or hunting content.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a brand.
  • Experience with email or SMS platforms such as Klaviyo.
  • Experience creating website banners and e-commerce graphics.
  • Experience filming hunting trips or working in uncontrolled outdoor environments.
  • A history of growing social media accounts or producing content that generated measurable sales, engagement, or traffic.
  • The ability to appear on camera occasionally when needed.
  • Drone experience and FAA Part 107 certification.
