Are you a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in delivering meaningful work that makes a lasting impact? We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented HR & Communications Intern to support both people operations and organizational communications within a mission-driven healthcare environment.
In this role, you'll help strengthen the employee experience through HR support while also contributing to clear, engaging internal and external communications. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, people-focused, and excited to support both organizational operations and community impact work.
Essential Job Dutie

• Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding support, employee file maintenance, and HR system updates
• Help support employee engagement, recognition, and internal culture initiatives
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in employee records and HR documentation
• Collaborate on internal and external communications, including writing and editing content for email, social media, and print materials
• Assist in creating simple branded materials such as flyers and graphics
• Support outreach and communication efforts tied to community health initiatives
• Contribute to brainstorming and execution of HR and communications projects and campaigns

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Current college student during the upcoming semester
• Working toward a college degree in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing, Communications,
• Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field), preferred
• Have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English grammar rules
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Must have graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe InDesign, or Photoshop)
• Social media communication experience (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
