• Maintains a safe, clean and sanitary environment for the community, residents, family, visitors and associates.
• Assists in the oversight of the efficient operations of the laundry, housekeeping and janitorial services.
• Assigns Housekeepers to specific daily tasks and assignments.
• Participates in new associate orientation training as requested.
• Orders and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment used by the Department and within the guidelines of the budget.
• Assist in assuring that the community is properly maintained in an orderly, clean and attractive manner and compliant with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Fills in for the Maintenance Director as needed.
• Contribute to marketing efforts through appropriate interactions with prospective residents and guests.
• Participates and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 4-5 years of direct supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong customer orientation to older adults.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
