Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Healthcare Marketing & Referral Specialist to develop and manage referral relationships that convert into active clients.
This is a field-based role focused on relationship-building, networking, and referral generation — not social media marketing.
The ideal candidate understands how to navigate the healthcare ecosystem and can confidently build partnerships that drive consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including:
- Hospital discharge planners
- Case managers and social workers
- Medicaid Waiver Coordinators
- Assisted Living & Independent Living communities
- Rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities
- Physician offices and specialty clinics
- Placement agencies and community organizations
- Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and follow-ups
- Track and manage referral pipelines
- Convert referral relationships into active clients
- Represent the agency professionally in the community
- Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy
Compensation Structure (High-Earning Potential)
Base + Performance Pay Model Available
Commission-Heavy (Recommended for Closers)
- $150 – $300 per qualified lead (that completes assessment)
- $300 – $750 per converted client (depending on service level)
- Bonus tiers for volume (example):
- 5+ clients/month = $500 bonus
- 10+ clients/month = $1,500 bonus
Top performers can realistically earn $4,000 – $10,000+/month
Qualifications
- Experience in home care, healthcare marketing, or referral development preferred
- Strong understanding of the healthcare referral process
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation required
