About Revley
Revley is the commerce operating system for high-scale subscription brands. We handle payment orchestration, checkout, subscriptions, tokenization, and chargeback prevention — all in one platform.
We're integrated with Stripe, Adyen, Airwallex, NMI, Nuvei, Kurv, PayArc, Authorize.net, and Braintree — plus a growing network of specialty acquirers. Our merchants range from $50K to $5M+/month in processing volume.
The Role
This is a full-time leadership hire (W-2 employee). You will own the entire payments function at Revley — processor strategy, merchant onboarding, auth rate optimization, chargeback prevention operations, PSP relationships, and a growing operations team underneath you.
Who You Are
You've worked inside ecommerce payments. At a PSP, as an ISO agent, at a payment facilitator, or running payment operations for a high-volume merchant. You know how this industry works because you've done it — not because you read about it.
You've submitted MID applications and know what underwriting wants before they ask for it. You understand the vertical the merchant is in, their processing history, their chargeback ratios, and their risk profile — and you know which processor is the right fit based on all of that.
You know the upsides and downsides of each PSP. Which ones have better domestic auth rates. Which ones have lower reserves. Which ones are faster to approve. Which ones cap volume. Which ones are better for international cards. You've lived this.
You've helped merchants navigate the onboarding process — working with them to ensure their website meets compliance standards, their fulfillment language is clear, their application is complete, and their business is positioned for a clean approval.
You understand auth rate optimization, decline codes, retry logic, and why routing matters. You know the difference between initial and merchant-initiated transactions and why that matters for subscriptions.
You know chargeback prevention — monitoring thresholds, alert networks, enrollment workflows, reason codes, and how to keep merchants in good standing with card networks.
You are an operator. You track every application, every processor relationship, every merchant's processing health. Nothing falls through the cracks. You will manage an operations team that handles daily execution — gateway setup, credential management, CRM updates, document collection — while you focus on strategy, processor relationships, and merchant advisory.
What You'll Own
— Processor strategy — selecting, negotiating, and managing PSP relationships across the platform
— Merchant onboarding — end-to-end application management and underwriting coordination
— Auth rate optimization — routing logic, retry strategy, and decline analysis
— Chargeback prevention — monitoring, alerting, and keeping merchants compliant with card network programs
— Team leadership — managing and scaling the payments operations team
— Merchant advisory — guiding merchants on processing best practices and platform configuration
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus revenue share tied to platform payment volume. This is a full-time leadership role with direct upside tied to the growth of the payments platform. Compensation details discussed during the interview process.
