Job Description

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end regional marketing strategy for the Americas, aligned to global GTM priorities while tailored to local market dynamics, customer maturity, and regulatory environments
You will focus heavily on driving revenue and accelerating pipeline alongside sales teams, using in-person & virtual tactics to create direct, face-to-face interaction with prospects
You will support complex, high-value deals by aligning marketing efforts that build trust and personal relationships in conjunction with field sales teams to move them to close
Serve as the primary marketing advisor to HQ and regional leadership on market conditions, competitive positioning, and market execution strategies and results
Drive measurable pipeline contribution, deal acceleration, and revenue influence in close partnership with regional sales leadership
Partner closely with U.S. HQ-based marketing and communications counterparts to ensure alignment and execution excellence between regional and global campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives
Orchestrate integrated, multi-channel regional campaigns spanning digital, events, Accounts Based Marketing (ABM), partnerships, product announcements and news/PR opportunities in alignment with HQ Corporate Marketing teams
Own the regional events strategy, including executive briefings, flagship conferences, private C-suite forums, and industry engagements
Tailor global messaging and campaigns to regional market dynamics while ensuring a consistent and unified IonQ brand and platform narrative across all channels
Define, track and report priorities, budgets, timelines, and success metrics for regional marketing initiatives

Requirements

12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in high-tech, enterprise, and/or emerging technology environments
Proven track record leading regional and/or international marketing teams across complex, multi-country markets
Deep experience supporting enterprise and strategic sales motions, including long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying groups
Exceptional storyteller who can balance technical credibility with executive-level clarity
Strong commercial acumen and comfort owning pipeline and revenue impact
Proven track record in similar roles within the Americas region is strongly preferred
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution
Experience operating in matrixed global organizations, influencing without authority
Comfortable navigating cultural nuance, regulatory complexity, and varied market maturity levels
Comfortable operating at both the boardroom and field level —from executive briefings to campaign execution
