- Serve as the primary coach across Scholastic (ages 7–18), Adult, and Team programs
- Deliver every session with energy, precision, and the ability to connect with athletes of every age and ability level
- Set and maintain D1's 5-star training standard across the floor — every class, every time
- Lead athlete assessments and goal-setting as part of our onboarding process
- Hire, onboard, and develop a coaching staff that reflects the D1 standard
- Lead ongoing coach education, programming reviews, and performance audits
- Provide direct, actionable feedback that makes your coaches better every month
- Build a coaching bench that supports facility growth and protects quality at scale
- Drive proactive retention through check-ins and low-usage outreach
- Support our 7/30/60/90-day onboarding touchpoints to keep new members engaged and progressing
- Oversee class scheduling, staffing coverage, facility cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
- Support grassroots marketing, local partnerships, and community events
- Help drive referrals and organic growth by being the kind of coach people talk about
- NCCA-accredited certification required (CSCS, NASM, USAW, ACSM, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
- Minimum one year of coaching experience in strength, conditioning, or group training
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
- Collegiate athletic background strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred

- $48,000+ base salary, commensurate with experience and certifications

D1 Training is a leading fitness concept that utilizes the five basic tenets of athletic-based training to help people of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals.All D1 Training locations offer four age-based programs including Rookie (ages 7-11), Developmental (ages 12-14), Prep (ages 15-18), and Adult (ages 18+). Each fitness program is based on the five athletic-based training tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance series, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. To ensure athletes are on track to meet sport and fitness goals new workouts are created every eight weeks by D1’s National Training Panel, led by Bartholomew, optimized for desired results. Outside of group workouts, D1 Training offers one-on-one training with world-class coaches which has been utilized by professional and Olympic athletes.
