Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Head of Advertising is a full-time remote role responsible for leading all advertising initiatives to expand Roarke Regenerative’s visibility, impact, and supporter base.
  • This position oversees the development and execution of multi-channel advertising strategies across digital, social, print, and broadcast platforms, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and brand.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, optimizing targeting and messaging, and coordinating with marketing, fundraising, and partnership teams.
  • The role includes managing external agencies or vendors, overseeing advertising budgets, and ensuring that campaigns are data-informed and compliant with nonprofit standards.
  • The Head of Advertising will also mentor team members, contribute to overall marketing strategy, and help shape storytelling that engages donors, corporate partners, and the broader public.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, campaign performance analysis, and ROI evaluation for advertising initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Sales and Marketing, particularly in developing and promoting campaigns that drive engagement, donations, and partnerships.
  • Candidates should possess proven Team Management capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams, mentoring staff, and collaborating effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred

  • Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in nonprofit or environmental organizations, familiarity with digital advertising platforms and tools, strategic planning skills, and a track record of managing advertising budgets
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred
