Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with balayage and color correction services
  • Prepare clients for services (washing, sectioning, toning support)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and elevated studio environment throughout the day
  • Greet clients and create a welcoming experience
  • Support checkout and client flow
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content during appointments
  • Edit and prepare content for Instagram, Reels, and TikTok
  • Use tools like Canva, CapCut, and other editing apps
  • Stay current on trends and contribute creative ideas for growth
  • Assist with maintaining a consistent brand presence online

Requirements

  • Cosmetologist license in the State of Connecticut
  • Strong interest in becoming a professional colorist (balayage + color correction focus)
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram required; TikTok a plus)
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools
  • Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
