Job Description

Growth Marketer · Full-Time · Remote (US Eastern Time)

About the role

We're TrackBee a growth-stage B2B SaaS company helping Shopify stores drive more revenue with better data. We sell to two audiences: Shopify merchants and the marketing agencies that serve them.

This is a foundational hire with one focus: find the channels that work in the US and scale them. You'll run experiments across every channel that could plausibly move the needle, read the signal fast, and pour fuel on what wins.

AI is an important part of your job. We expect you to use it to run more experiments than a traditional growth hire could, generate and iterate on creative at pace, analyse results faster, and automate the repetitive work that usually slows a growth function down. If AI isn't already a core part of your workflow, this role will be a tough fit.

You'll work with a small, focused marketing team: a Marketing Director, a Content Marketer, a US marketing/Comms contractor and a Hubspot Freelancer.

Most of the team sits in the EU, so this role needs to be on the US East Coast. That overlap lets us move quickly together while still covering US working hours for the market we sell into.

What you'll own

Channel experimentation and scale

  • Run structured experiments across paid, organic, cold outreach, events, partnerships, influencers, and anything else worth trying
  • Decide where to focus and how to allocate resources. Kill what isn't working, pour fuel on what is
  • Test creative, audiences, and landing pages relentlessly. Ship fast, read the data, iterate
  • Own the playbook for turning a promising signal into a reliable, scaled channel
  • Optimise for quality signups and CAC, not vanity volume
  • Bring a clear point of view on channel mix, backed by data

Working with AI

  • Use AI across the full loop: ideation, creative, copy, analysis, and reporting
  • Build lightweight workflows and automations so you can run more experiments in parallel
  • Stay on top of new tools and models, and bring the useful ones into the team's workflow
  • Treat AI output with the same rigour as anything else. Judgement and taste still sit with you

CRM oversight (light touch)

  • A freelancer owns HubSpot execution. You set the direction and check the work
  • Keep lead flow, lifecycle stages, and attribution clean enough that your experiment results can actually be trusted

What success looks like

First 30 days

  • Channels audited and a sharp improvement plan shipped
  • A clear map of where AI will remove friction or unlock speed in your workflows, with the first automations already live
  • A quick check on CRM and attribution so the experiment data is trustworthy

End of the first quarter

  • At least one new channel has real traction, or been ruled out with data
  • Existing channels running with rigour: consistent reporting, active experimentation, improving metrics
  • AI is visibly compounding your output. You're shipping more tests and more creative than a traditional growth hire would

Who you are

  • Based on the US East Coast. Our EU team needs daily overlap with you, and Eastern Time makes that work
  • 3 to 5 years in performance marketing, growth, or demand gen. Ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • AI is already core to how you work. You use it daily to write faster, analyse better, build small automations, and get more done without more headcount. You can point to concrete examples
  • An instinctive experimenter. You've run dozens of tests across channels, have strong opinions on channel mix, and can back them with data
  • Hands-on across multiple paid and organic channels. You've taken at least one from zero to meaningful scale
  • Enough CRM literacy (HubSpot or similar) to direct a freelancer and trust the attribution feeding your decisions. You don't need to be the one building workflows
  • You move fast in a lean setup and don't need a large team around you to do good work
  • Experience across both self-serve and sales-assisted acquisition is a strong plus

Tools and stack

We don't expect all of these, but familiarity helps:

  • AI: a real working stack. ChatGPT, Claude, and whatever else you reach for to generate, analyse, and automate. Bonus points if you've built your own Skills, Workflows, GPTs, or agents
  • Paid: hands-on with Meta, LinkedIn, or similar
  • Plus email, influencers, or other channels you've actually scaled
  • CRM: working knowledge of HubSpot or similar, enough to guide a freelancer
  • Shopify ecosystem / ecommerce familiarity is a big bonus

Why join us

  • Fly to the Netherlands for your first onboarding week.
  • Career opportunities. You get unique development opportunities and career growth
  • Real ownership. Small team, big scope. What you ship moves the business
  • AI-first environment. We invest in the tools and expect you to get leverage out of them. You won't have to fight to use what works
  • Scope to experiment. You decide where we bet, because we trust the person closest to the data
  • Strategic visibility. You'll sit close to GTM decisions, not just execute task lists
  • Good people. Growth-stage energy with a focused, low-ego team
  • Yearly off-sites with the team (Last January we went to Tokyo)
  • Salary: $85,000-$100,000

To apply, send your CV to luuk@trackbee.io and a short note on a channel experiment you're proud of. Bonus: tell us how AI changed how you ran it. 🚀

No agency or recruiter outreach, thank you.
