Job Description
What You Will Do
- Own a merchant portfolio: Build and execute joint business plans across a subset of our most important merchants to drive measurable revenue and performance outcomes.
- Identify and unlock opportunities: Analyze merchant performance to uncover growth levers across marketing, operations, pricing, and merchandising.
- Drive strategic initiatives: Proactively pitch, test, and scale new ideas that improve merchant performance and program value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Speak the language of operations, marketing, pricing, and data to align teams, delegate effectively, and orchestrate high-impact execution across specialist partners.
- Manage senior relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Lead business reviews: Own and deliver high-quality Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clear insights, recommendations, and impact.
- Ensure operational excellence: Execute quickly and decisively to meet merchant needs, timelines, and budgets.
- Shape the team: Contribute to building the culture, processes, and best practices of the Merchant Success function.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or a related client-facing role with clear ownership of revenue or performance outcomes
- Proven ability to drive measurable growth by identifying opportunities, executing quickly, and delivering results in fast-paced environments
- Strong commercial instincts with experience or heavy interest in e-commerce
- Highly analytical and structured thinker, able to translate data into actionable insights and strategic decisions
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels, including senior executives
- Comfortable “speaking the language” of operations, marketing, pricing, and data to drive alignment and execution
- Cares about how data, insights, and strategies are presented to external audiences
- Highly adaptable and curious, with a strong interest in understanding new markets, customer behaviors, and cultural nuances
- Thrives in high-ownership environments and is motivated by building, improving, and scaling systems from the ground up
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or speed

Compensation
$100,000 – $160,000 in base cash compensation, with the opportunity for equity.
