Overview
The Group Account Lead will be responsible for the strategic thinking, oversight and management of multiple clients and brands. This includes end-to-end support on development, execution, delivery of all deliverables. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with their clients in an effort to deliver high quality work and organically grow the business. People who exceed in this role are highly empathetic, patient, warm, thoughtful, organized, and excellent communicators.
This role is ideal for a senior leader who thrives in a nimble, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact in rare disease. As a GAD, you will operate as both a strategic advisor and business driver, overseeing high-value accounts while rolling up your sleeves to guide day-to-day execution. You’ll play a critical role in shaping client strategy, mentoring teams, and contributing to the agency’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy
-Serve as the senior strategic lead across key rare disease accounts
-Build deep, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a proactive partner—not just a vendor
-Lead development of insight-driven, patient-centric communication strategies across brand lifecycle stages
-Translate complex clinical/scientific data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences (HCPs, patients, caregivers, advocacy groups)
Business Growth & Financial Management
-Drive organic growth across accounts and identify opportunities to expand scope
-Play a visible role in new business efforts, including pitch strategy, storytelling, and presentations
-Contribute to agency positioning, thought leadership, and reputation in the rare disease space
-Partner with leadership on forecasting, revenue planning, and account health
Client management
-Proactively manages clients requests and communications (stay one step ahead at all times)
-Proactively recommends client solutions to pull through client goals and strategies
-Relationship and team building at levels of the client organization
-Plans, manages, and executes all major client meetings and visits
-Ensures a high level of client satisfaction
Team Leadership
-Lead and mentor a small, high-performing account team
-Provides strategic direction while staying close to the work
-Fosters a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where individuals are empowered and accountable
-Partner cross-functionally with medical, creative, and strategy leads in a highly integrated environment

Minimum Qualifications
Salary Range: $150,000 – $185,000
