We’re a remote team of specialists supporting clients through social media, email marketing, design, and day-to-day marketing execution. We’re growing quickly and looking for a dependable and versatile graphic designer who can collaborate with our creative team to create compelling design work for our various clients.

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and flexible Graphic Designer to join the Moonwake team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Creative Team and client-facing strategists to develop compelling visual identities and design assets for a wide range of small business clients. You will be a key contributor to some of the most visible and exciting projects we take on.

This is an opportunity to do meaningful creative work that directly impacts real businesses, crafting logos, building brands, and designing materials that help entrepreneurs stand out and grow.

This position starts as a contractor role with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to grow into a more consistent workload (and potentially full-time) as the agency grows.

Responsibilities

• Design logos and develop comprehensive visual brand identities from concept through final delivery
• Create branded templates and graphics for social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Design print materials including business cards, event flyers, banners, brochures, and signage
• Support website design projects and create assets for web use (graphics, icons, headers, and more)
• Design product packaging and branded merchandise as needed
• Collaborate with strategists and project managers to ensure designs align with client goals and brand voice
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
• Present design concepts and incorporate feedback in a professional, client-ready manner

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (agency or freelance experience is a plus)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating logo design, branding, and both print and digital layout work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Canva Pro
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
• Ability to adapt your design style to match a wide range of client brands and industries
• Strong communication skills and ability to take and incorporate feedback gracefully
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Experience designing for social media platforms and creating template systems
• Familiarity with Wix, WordPress, or other website platforms
• Experience with motion graphics or basic video editing for social content
• Passion for working with small businesses and seeing your designs make a real difference
