Position Overview:

This Graphic Designer role will primarily focus on email creation, testing, and development as well as web & social communications under the guidance of a Lead Designer and Project Coordinator. Other important functions include general graphic design layout and creative executions.

This role operates in a fast-paced, production-driven environment with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and high visibility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting quickly and producing high-quality work under pressure. In addition, this role plays an important part in helping the Creative team grow as a strategic partner, contributing to the overall success of Ollie’s.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Produce high volumes of emails utilizing Adobe InDesign and a drag and drop HTML email editor
• General graphic design layout and other potential creative executions across web, digital and print
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines
• Develop creative assets and other visual elements for email content
• Seek opportunities to improve email design strategies and processes
• Stay up to date on current email design trends and best practices
• Maintain brand consistency through all communications
• Keep cognizant of overall Marketing and Business objectives with each project
• Work with many stakeholders through proofing process, translating given product offer information into functional email deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 2+ years of experience in email or digital production
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
• Proficiency in MacOS, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Basic knowledge of HTML preferred
• Experience with retail marketing or advertising preferred
• Retail email marketing experience is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage changing priorities and workloads
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and outcomes

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for an extended period.
• Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
• Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently.
• Ability to bend and twist occasionally.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
