Job Summary

Own the visual design execution and multimedia production for client campaigns, collaborating with internal reviews to learn and pivot as priorities shift.

  • Creative Design Execution: Develop visuals that advance client business goals.
  • Multimedia Production and Manipulation: Capture high-quality photo content and edit photos and videos for social and digital channels.
  • Collaborate & Learn: Leverage feedback from reviews to improve design and production decisions.

  • Creative Design Execution: Develop visuals that advance client business goals.
  • Multimedia Production and Manipulation: Capture high-quality photo content and edit photos and videos for social and digital channels.
  • Collaborate & Learn: Leverage feedback from reviews to improve design and production decisions.
  • Accountability: Manage time effectively and stay flexible to agency priorities.
  • Submit 3–5 samples of their work.
  • Portfolio should include at least three of the following: Print Project (e.g., booklet, trifold, sell sheet), Interactive or Website Project (UX/UI), A full month’s worth of Social Media Graphics/Images/Videos (cohesive campaign), Edited Video or Motion Graphic, Original Logo and Brand Guide, Photography Project.
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • A client-first, service-oriented mentality.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Availability: Up to 15 hours per week (with the opportunity for more based on client needs).
  • On-site in Downtown Akron office on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays.
  • Length: One semester (spring, summer or fall, 12-16 weeks).
  • Have a Passion for Purpose: Possess a strong “why” for pursuing a career in design that aligns with FSM’s core values.
  • Be a Storyteller: Be driven to discover new, concise, and original ways to inform and persuade audiences through visual design.

  • Be Detail-Oriented: Maintain high standards—from correcting typos and checking spacing to ensuring image resolution is always crisp.
