Job Summary

FenceScreen, LLC is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our Graphic Design and eCommerce teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production and online retail environment. The position will focus on essential day-to-day tasks that help keep our operations organized and running smoothly.

The internship is anticipated to last approximately 8–12 weeks and is expected to involve roughly 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and the intern’s availability. Scheduling and duration may be adjusted by mutual agreement to support academic commitments, program requirements, and organizational needs. This is an on-site position located in Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca.

Learning Objectives / Educational Experience
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in graphic design production and eCommerce operations. Interns will gain exposure to real-world workflows and develop foundational skills in:

  • Digital asset organization and file management best practices
  • Quality control and proofing processes for print production
  • Product listing and catalog management across eCommerce platforms
  • Basic use of design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) in a production environment
  • Understanding the workflow of a custom manufacturing and online retail business

Interns will work closely with team members and receive guidance to ensure tasks contribute to skill development and professional growth.

This temporary internship position is not intended to create a guarantee or expectation of continued employment following the conclusion of the internship period.

Responsibilities 

  • Organize and maintain digital files, folders and project assets
  • Assist with proofing workflows (reviewing design files for accuracy, formatting, and consistency)
  • Upload and manage product listings across eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Etc)
  • Support product data entry, including descriptions, images, and pricing
  • Help prepare and format artwork files for production
  • Perform general administrative and operational support tasks as needed

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field from an accredited university
  • Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital file systems
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
