Job Description

Location: NYC-based (Virtual & In-Person)
Type: Full-Time
Reporting to: CEO
Level: Global Management Team (GMT)
OK COOL is moving beyond the era of tech and Ai experimentation. We are looking for a heavy-hitting Global Head of Operations & Integration to join our Global Management Team. Your mandate is to design, implement, and lead the operational infrastructure that powers our output.
You aren't just managing tools; you are architecting the OK COOL way of working across our global markets. You will bridge the gap between back-office efficiency and front-end creative excellence, ensuring our tech stack and centralized ai tools is a competitive advantage, not a cost center.
As a senior figure within the Residence network, you will also act as the strategic link between OK COOL and our sister agencies - identifying synergies, leveraging shared tech, and ensuring our commercial impact is felt across the entire network.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Operational Architecture & Ways of Working
  • End-to-End Audit: First understand and then take ownership of our full operational tech stack across all markets. You will evaluate every tool and current usage in our ecosystem - from client-facing functions (Research, Strategy, Creative, Influencer, Production) to back-office essentials (Finance, Recruitment, HR).
  • The OK COOL OS: Lead the management and optimization of our core operating system (Productive.io), ensuring it integrates seamlessly with our financial and project management workflows - or consider alternatives.
  • Process Engineering: Codify our global Ways of Working. You will define how a brief moves through the agency, which tools are used at each stage, and how we maintain "human-only" creative zones to prevent output dilution.
  • Tech Strategy, Licensing & Commercial Impact
  • Cost & Efficiency: Manage global software licensing and subscriptions. You are responsible for killing spend inefficiencies, consolidating overlapping tools, avoiding wastage (e.g. auto-renewals) and negotiating enterprise-level agreements.
  • Residence Network Integration: Act as the primary tech and tool liaison for the Residence agency network. You will identify tools used by other agencies that we can leverage and vice versa, creating a cross-network tech-equity that benefits everyone.
  • SaaS Evolution: Lead the transition of our proprietary tool, Protocool, from an internal lab project to a robust, high performing tool and, in time, a client-facing SaaS product.
  • Innovation & Integration
  • Data Powerhouse: Partner with Part + Sum to scale our Share of Culture analytics approach, turning it into a data-backed engine that is indispensable to our teams and our clients.
  • AI Implementation: Move us from fragmented AI usage to a unified stack. You decide which LLMs, social listening tools, and creative reference engines become our global standard.
  • Adoption & Training: You don't just pick the tools; you ensure the team knows how to use them. You will drive global adoption and lead training sessions to ensure the whole network speaks the same technical language.
Who You Are:
  • Agency-Bred Leader: You have spent 10+ years in digital/social agencies. You understand the friction points of creative teams and why they often resist new processes.
  • An Operator Mindset: You are an implementer who can take a messy list of ideas and turn them into a high-functioning global workflow.
  • High-Taste Technologist: You are bullish on AI but can also spot AI slop a mile away. You know which tools enhance human creativity and which ones make it look generic.
  • Commercial Strategist: You understand the P&L. You don't just look at what a tool does; you look at what it costs and the ROI it provides to the business.
  • The Bridge: You can talk API integrations with developers, EBITDA with the CFO, and cultural vibes with Creative Directors without losing anyone in translation.
The Goal:To help us create a unified, global agency network that is faster, leaner, and more proprietary than any competitor. By aligning our tech stack with our creative soul, you will ensure OK COOL remains the most efficient high-end creative shop in the world.
What We Can Offer You:
  • Opportunity to be part of an awesome, and fast-growing team that values innovation, collaboration and excellence
  • Working with world class experts in culture, social campaigns, content and creators
  • Work with some of the biggest and best brands on the planet
  • A flexible, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture
  • $175k-225k base salary + incentive plans
  • Competitive healthcare/benefits with 401(k) program
  • 22 days PTO + sick days + 11 holidays + mini summer break + winter recess break
  • Primarily remote with occasional in-person and client collaboration in office
  • Summer Fridays early closing between Memorial Day and Labor Day
