Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build UCB's Alzheimer's disease knowledge and translate patient, caregiver, stakeholder, diagnostic, access, and competitive insights into asset choices.
- Lead the global cross-functional forum for learning, collaboration and commercial decision making.
- Develop the patient population and indication vision, value proposition, positioning, and commercialization strategy.
- Define the market-development priorities required to support future adoption, including diagnosis, biomarkers, referral and treatment pathways, healthcare infrastructure, and care delivery.
- Develop market assessments, forecasts, business cases, and commercialization scenarios, including key assumptions, uncertainties, and capability needs.
- Support evaluation of development and partnering scenarios through commercial assessment of strategic options, assumptions, opportunities, and risks.
- Bring external stakeholder perspectives into asset decisions and translate the work into clear recommendations for the Asset team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical strategy, marketing, or commercialization experience.
- 2+ years direct Alzheimer’s disease or dementia experience.
- 2+ years experience supporting a development-stage, post-proof-of-concept, or pre-launch asset.
Preferred
- Experience developing market assessments, forecasts, scenarios, or business cases
- Strong understanding of Alzheimer’s diagnosis, biomarkers, stakeholders, and treatment pathways.
- U.S. pharmaceutical commercialization experience.
- Global pharmaceutical strategy or commercialization experience.
- Experience supporting partnered or co-development assets.
- Strong business judgment and ability to synthesize incomplete information.
- Demonstrated success leading through influence across functions and geographies.
