Job Description
Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly planning meetings to help determine communications objectives and advertising/marketing/promotional campaigns.
- Conduct grassroots outreach to a wide range of communities in order to stimulate attendance and diversify audiences at Skirball programs and exhibitions.
- Develop digital outreach materials and maintain the outreach database.
- Assist with e-newsletter creation and reporting.
- Create social media content, engage with communities on specific platforms, analyze analytics, and assist with social media-specific projects when assigned.
- Contribute to market research projects—including conducting in-person/online surveys, tabulating survey responses, and tracking results.
- Proofread and fact-check Skirball publications, including bimonthly calendars, direct-mail postcards, and informational brochures.
- Assist the Communications and Marketing department with additional projects as needed, including (but not limited to) copyediting, surveying audiences, creating e-newsletters, and light design work.
