📍 Location: Long Beach, CA (On-site)
📅 Type: Seasonal (Sundays from June 28 - August 9)
💰 Pay: $22 / hour

Sunset Madness Basketball is a high-energy summer league built for young adults who love competition, community, and content. We’re not just running games, we’re creating a full experience with highlights, media, and a growing brand in the SoCal basketball scene. We strive to make players feel that they are in a professional basketball league by adding media, stats, and much more to the traditional men's league experience.
🎥 Role Overview
We’re looking for an outgoing, creative Game Day Content Creator to help bring the Sunset Madness experience to life on TikTok and Instagram.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who either:
- Has some experience in sports media or content creation
- OR is starting from scratch and wants to break into sports content
If you’re comfortable on camera, enjoy talking to people, and want real hands-on experience in a live sports environment, this is for you. 🙌
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Attend weekly game days and create 2-3 short-form content videos(TikTok, Reels) 📱
- Film fun, engaging interviews with players and attendees
- (“Favorite NBA player?” “Favorite food?” “Who’s winning today?” etc.)
- Brainstorm and execute creative content ideas on-site
⏰ Schedule & Expectations
- Must be on time, reliable, and fully present during events.
- Expected turnaround: Film Sunday → Edited content delivered by Tuesday morning
- You MUST be available for all game days. The schedule is below:
- June 28th (1-4)
- July 5th (1-4)
- July 12th (1-4)
- July 19th (1-4)
- July 26th (1-4)
- August 2nd (12-4)
- August 9th 1-2
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable on camera and talking to new people
- Outgoing, energetic personality
- Ability to approach players/fans and ask questions naturally
- Basic filming/editing skills (phone editing is completely fine)
- Own equipment (smartphone is okay, camera is a plus)
- Strong reliability and communication
🔥 Bonus (Not Required)
- Experience creating TikTok or Instagram content
- Understanding of trends, hooks, and viral-style videos
- Confidence being both behind and in front of the camera

Sunset Madness Basketball
Sunset Madness Basketball hosts fun and competitive events for all young adults in the OC/LA area. We host events such as 5v5 summer basketball leagues, 5v5 and 3v3 weekend tournaments, as well as 3-point contests.
