Job Description Summary
The OCCE Student Lead will be responsible for supporting the community-based learning faculty, students, community partners and co-curricular community engagement activities in an office that values mutually beneficial relationships and cultural competency.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly interactive environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. General clerical and organizational skills. Ability to work under tight time constraints. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Takes initiative and a self-starter. Must be an active ULV student.
Preferred Qualifications
Public speaking skills. 1 to 2 years of related experience with nonprofit organizations or community service Value collaborative partnerships among diverse groups of people in multicultural environments.
Work Schedule
Hours: Preferred availability is 2-3 days a week at 6-8 hours a week, with the possibility of some evening and weekend events.
