Serving over 400 children annually across 12 sites in Marin and Sonoma Counties, NBCC emphasizes culturally rich programs, health and wellness initiatives like the Garden of Eatin’ program, and strong partnerships with families, schools, and communities. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the San Francisco Bay Area for a Fundraising & Community Engagement Manager. The manager will spearhead and implement fundraising initiatives, build and maintain relationships with donors, and oversee community engagement activities. Responsibilities include identifying prospective funding opportunities, organizing fundraising events, supervising community outreach programs, and ensuring alignment with NBCC's mission. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to create impactful partnerships and contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans.

Qualifications

  • 5- 10 years' experience in Fundraising & Community Engagement and Community Outreach, with the ability to build and strengthen partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Program Management and Project Management, including planning, coordination, and execution of events and initiatives.
  • 5 years of Non-Profit Fundraising, Events and Gala's including auctions and vendor management
  • Strong Communication skills, including writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Previous experience in non-profit fundraising or development is required.
  • Understanding of early childhood education or familiarity with community-based organizations is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related discipline is preferred.
