Responsibilities

• The Role Description Fun Educational Influencers for the new kids’ social media platform at The Mentoring Connection will create and submit engaging, age-appropriate educational content that supports learning and positive social interaction.
• These are to be 30-90 second engaging videos on subjects such as math, chemistry, biology, algebra, geometry, English language arts concepts, secondary language and culture - French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese - or other academic or enrichment subjects such as art or music.
• These are to be designed for students from age 10 years old to High School.

Requirements

• Strong Communication skills, including clear, age-appropriate language, active listening, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience or interest in Influencer Marketing and Social Media Marketing, with an understanding of trends and best practices on kid-focused platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Public Relations, including maintaining a positive, professional public image and representing an organization’s mission online.
• Ability to present educational concepts in a fun and engaging format - while we may allow some AI generated content, we prefer "human-made" videos, demonstrations and narration.
• Awareness of or interest in neurodiversity, inclusive education, and creating content that is accessible for different learning needs.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet content creation and posting schedules.
• Familiarity with basic video production, editing tools, and online safety practices for children is necessary.
