Job Description

Responsibilities

spearhead culture-driven integrated communications programs that extend beyond media relations.
create and secure compelling storytelling opportunities across earned media and owned social channels and support complex experiential moments.
The role is built for the future of earned media and the quickly changing media landscape, with an emphasis on being a driver across key communications clients including American Express.
Serve as a strategic counsel to clients and as a leader of a talented communications team.
Develop strong integrated communications strategies that build brand awareness and achieve key business objectives.
Build effective and creative earned programming that breaks through in today's cluttered media landscape and understands the future of earned media.
In addition to team management and mentorship experience, we are also looking for someone who can be a part of new business and management decisions.
Be a thought-partner for senior-level clients by understanding their business while helping to maintain and deepen our client relationship.
Maintain current knowledge of trends, the competitive landscape, and confidently provide strategic point-of-views to the client.
Develop creative, award-winning campaign ideas informed by insights and rooted in culture.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in communications
Deep understanding of and appreciation for the premium lifestyle space, both brands and media
Experience balancing business and brand considerations in both high level concept and day-to-day execution
In depth understanding of the future of earned media, new media, social media and the digital landscape
Proven track record of practical and successful application of ideas
Integrated communications and PR agency experience; brand partnerships and large-scale activation experience preferred
Experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team, exemplifying excellent judgment and people skills
Understanding of brand partnerships and experience in working with creative teams to build effective strategies and campaigns
Creative storytelling skills coupled with a deep understanding on how to package a modern earned story, understand the importance of visual elements
Deep understanding of developing media strategies and strong media relationships across luxury, lifestyle and travel

Preferred

Integrated communications and PR agency experience; brand partnerships and large-scale activation experience preferred
Proficiency in generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway, DALL·E, or similar platforms
