Job Summary

Own end-to-end social video production for short-form and long-form formats, balancing cinematic visuals with social-native cadence; lead concept to delivery, stay on trend, and collaborate on shot lists to drive consistent content that resonates with cannabis-focused audiences.

Production & Editing: Own concept development through rough cut to final delivery for Reels and YouTube, including color, audio, captions, and motion graphics.
Creative & Trend Alignment: Stay current on platform trends and bring fresh ideas that fit the brand and audience.
Collaboration & Delivery: Work with the team on shot lists and deadlines to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Film product and lifestyle content for Instagram Reels (2–3 per week) and YouTube videos (1–2 per month)
Edit footage end-to-end — rough cut through final delivery, including color, audio, captions, channel-specific formatting, and motion graphics
Collaborate with our team on concepts and shot lists as needed
Stay current on Instagram and YouTube trends and bring fresh creative ideas

Requirements

A strong portfolio of short-form social content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and/or long-form YouTube
Proficiency in a professional editing suite (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Motion graphics experience is required for editing work — traditional or AI-assisted (After Effects, CapCut, Runway, or similar)
An eye for cinematic, high-quality visuals. Not everything needs to be overly polished as this is social media, but we still keep a professional edge.
Reliable, self-directed, and able to hit deadlines without hand-holding
Bonus: Cannabis industry experience or breadth of knowledge about solventless production
