If so, we might have the perfect next job for you. We are looking for a remote video director/ video editor hybrid role. This is a work from home position.

Idea Decanter is a women-owned agency specializing in video marketing. We need you to coach our financial services clients through virtual record sessions. Our Idea Kit service allows a “Kit Coach” to remotely run a session through an app on the “talent’s” phone.

You’ll help them choose a background, set up lighting, check the audio, run the teleprompter, and record the video … all while making the client feel comfortable. Most importantly, you’ll give them live performance coaching to help them deliver their best take. On occasion, you should also be prepared to lead a Q&A interview in a Kit session.

In this hybrid position, you’ll also be assigned 2-3 minute videos to edit in Adobe Premiere. Many of our clients work in financial services. However, deep experience in this industry is not required.

Requirements for the Remote Video Director “Kit Coach”

· Bright sunny attitude

· Not afraid of tech

· Calm under pressure

· Able to deal with complicated egos

· Approaches change and new ideas with zeal

· Able to pivot and take on projects at the last minute

· Experience in helping nervous clients look great on camera

• Able to direct a shoot with confidence and authority

· A good eye for lighting

· Attention to detail

· Enjoys working with others (remotely)

Requirements for Video Editor

· Knowledge of Premier Pro, Audition, and After Effects

· Understands and can meet tight deadlines

· Experience in using stock imagery to tell a story

· Creative problem-solver

· Organizational skills a must

· Quick decision maker

· Detail oriented

· TV news video editing experience a plus

PT- Flexible $35-$45 based on experience

Must have availability M-F during normal working hours.
