Stellar is a premium content provider trusted by leading brands, e-commerce businesses, agencies, and publishers. We’re kicking off a major LATAM project and building a team of skilled freelance LATAM Spanish writers and translators to support it.

The Role:

You’ll write net-new content in Latin American Spanish and translate English-language content into Latin American Spanish, localizing each piece for Mexican audiences with a focus on Tijuana and Mexico City. Success in this role requires excellent writing and translation skills, close attention to tone and nuance, and the ability to adapt content so it feels natural, accurate, and culturally relevant for the target market.

What You'll Do:

• Write original long-form content in Latin American Spanish and translate English-language content into Latin American Spanish, typically ranging from 1,200 to 1,500 words
• Work on the Stellar platform to draft, translate, and edit content directly, ensuring each piece is clear, accurate, natural-sounding, and localized for Mexican audiences, especially in Tijuana and Mexico City.

Requirements:

• Native-level proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Strong grasp of grammar, style, and cultural context.
• Previous experience in content writing, translation, or localization work.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines and following client guidelines.

Project Details:

• Ongoing but variable workload
• This is a human-written project. AI submissions will not be accepted.
• Freelance basis: no minimum commitment; some weeks may be heavy, others light.
• Compensation: paid per word (average $80-100+ per net new article and $70-$90 per localization depending on length).
• Payments issued weekly on Fridays.
